What to bring?

* salt water fishing license

* punch card if fishing for salmon or halibut

*water proof boots (your feet would get very wet and cold without them)

* rain pants or bibs (even on nice sunny days there can be quite a bit of spray and water on the back deck)

* rain jacket (even on nice sunny days there can be quite a bit of spray and water on the back deck)

Hat or hood

Warm layered clothes (even on dates that are warm on shore it can be very chilly off shore)

Lunch, snacks and drinks (we have water on the boat)

Camera

Gloves

Seasick medicine (Bonine and Dramamine are very popular)

Sun glasses

Leave a  cooler in your vehicle to haul your fish home(we do not have room for large coolers on the boat)

Tips are appreciated if you think we have earned it.

 

What is  provided?

All rods, reels, lines, lures, hooks ,and bait

Fish cleaning is free for halibut, salmon, lingcod & bottom fish trips and bags are provided for  you to take your fish off the boat

Tuna cleaning is $3 a fish optional (you can take them whole if you would like)

 

Can I bring my own gear?

YES, if your gear is in good working condition a suitable for the fish we are after  you are welcome to bring a rod or two but please let the caption know before the trip

So we can make sure we have room for your gear and that the gear is suitable for the fish we are after.

 

Where do we meet and when

Most trips will meet at the boat ramp or dock a little before day light but the captain will give you very specific directions on where and when to meet

Please be on time or early! Do to ocean bar conditions and tides it can be very important to leave at a certain time if  we do not get out on the right tide we might not be able  to cross the bar on that day.

 

What is not allowed on the boat?

No glass bottles

No drugs or hard alcohol allowed on board! If you show up intoxicated you will not be allowed to go fishing and you will not be given a refund

No guns (Our boats are safe no need to bring any guns)

No pets

No personal GPS devices allowed on halibut, lingcod or bottom fish trips. some of the spots we fish are very small and cannot support many boats

If you are on a trip and would like a spot so you can fish on your own boat ask and I may be able to recommend a spot.

 

Deposit, cancellation & booking policy

All trips require a 50% nonrefundable deposit to hold your spot and all trips must be paid in full 14 days before the trip date.

If you  cancel  more than 14 days before the trip  you will be refunded any payments made over your 50% deposit.

If you cancel within 14 days of the trip no refund will be given unless your spot can be filled.

People paying with a credit card will be charged a small fee for the transaction

Weather cancelation: if the Captain cancels the trip do to weather conditions you  can put your money towards another trip, or receive a full  refund.
